Thanksgiving Weekend 2013 - So much to be thankful for

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!  I hope you did as well.  It was a busy one and we crammed a lot into four days.

We hosted Thanksgiving dinner for family and dear friends on Thursday.  Luckily, I had a super adorable helper.  As you can see, he ate more than helped but he's adorable so it's okay!

The guys watched football, while mom and I cooked...

We had a really nice evening surrounded by loved ones.

Next up, after some Black Friday shopping, I was able to pull off a surprise baby sprinkle for a much deserving friend.  Dough was a wonderful host and I highly recommend it!

Sunday, we headed to Ergle Farm in search of the perfect Christmas tree.  What an amazing experience!  We all had so much fun scouring the farm for our tree.  Here's Kyran's pick:

We decided to go with something a little bigger but I am thinking about getting him his own small tree for the patio.  I can be a bit particular about the Christmas tree and the boys want to decorate something.

After you chop down your tree and drag it back in, they shake it and wrap it up for you.  So easy.

We enjoyed some snacks and a train ride before heading home to decorate.

It may not be the store bought perfect shape, but who cares?!  We picked it out, chopped it down and brought it home to decorate.  How cool is that!
